Great place to stay at Mountain creek

Great spot for a quick getaway for some skiing and snow tubing at Mountain Creek.

A beautiful condo for a ski vacation with great views, a pool with hot tubs, a fireplace, and convenient parking, right next to the resort. Getting inside was very easy, Gerry was always immediately responsive, and he gave good local suggestions too.

Gerald’s place was really convenient and most of the Condo was cleaned thoroughly, except from the kitchenware and appliances. Gerald offered to resolve it quickly.

Overall ok. A bit old and outdated but clean. Extremely far from the main lobby but close to the car garage and exit to the mountain. The only real negatives I found is that the walls are paper thin and there were kids staying in the room above mine. Couldn’t go to sleep until about 11:30/12 because of all the noise. You can also hear when the people above you use the bathroom, kind of weird. Otherwise, way too many messages/emails. It gets really confusing and you lose what you’re looking for. Please consider cutting down on the notifications, many people mention this in their reviews. Gerald was polite and helpful, usually answered my messages immediately.

Perfectly situated for a visit to Mountain Creek. Being on the grounds made everything super easy - especially parking right under the hotel.

My two teenage boys and I stayed for one night for a guys weekend at the bike park. The unit was just the right size for us with the sofa bed.

Check in was super simple, the instructions clear and communication a breeze.

One slight downer - there wasn’t a sit down restaurant on site to get meals. Surprising for a resort this size. It diminishes the advantage of being right there to start your day if you have to leave to get breakfast anyway!

On the whole, though, everything was as it should be. The place was a good value. We’d definitely stay again.

The unit and building were great, enjoyed the location. Only issue was that the on site pool was out of service, Gerry texted one day into my stay mentioning the closure. I requested a day pass to the near by resort or late checkout as compensation but never received an answer

Gerald was a great host. Accommodated my Family and I on a last minute booking, everything went smooth and easy. The condo had everything we needed and the hotel offered arcade room, bar, restaurant, jacuzzi, salt water pool and much more.. I would definitely stay here again In the future.

Great place to stay for Skiing or to quickly get out of nyc

The place itself was great. Comfy bed, small kitchen with a fridge and everything needed to cook an easy meal, and clean bathroom. The pool and gym were nice, and the spot is a 5 min walk to the mountain creek water park. We loved our stay.

Only downside was the huge number of messages I received before, during, and after the trip advertising other properties, and reminding us about random things like not to touch the fireplace because fire is hot.
Seemed like these messages were automated. I got 17 messages in a 1 week time period.

Was a bit overwhelmed with the number of automated emails and texts I received from hosts, including 13 separate messages between booking and check-in. Many of these were duplicate messages reminding us about information that was present in other messages, and several were advertisements for their properties in other cities. One guide would have been sufficient and significantly less confusing and anxiety provoking.

Very cozy studio, well equipped. Only issue that is little far from elevator so it was kind of heavy to carry all the boards and ski. Other then that location and window view was amazing. Great stay!! Definitely we will be back.

A really fantastic studio for great prices right in all the action!
This studio is steps from the resort.
The heated garage is perfect; with the elevator in the back of it being an almost direct path to the apartment on the 2nd floor.
There were ample towels, comfortable modern bedding and a pull out sofa bed!
The Gas fire place kept us plenty warm.
As other reviewers said, the bathroom gets really cold for some reason! Prepare yourself with bath robes or some thick skin til the shower warms up!

Sufficient pans to cook basic meals off 2 burners. A reasonably sized fridge (not mini but also not full sized).
A keurig with some K pods and hot chocolate powder.
A toaster oven and a bread toaster.
There was only pepper stocked so bring your seasonings and cooking oils!

The hot tubs were open and looked fantastic but due to crowding and covid concerns, we opted to run a hot bath instead.

Convenient location, convenient parking, lovely studio. Can’t get any better!
Looking forward to staying again.

Overpriced motel room w/ fire place feeling.
pillows were flat n limp. carpet was very old n didn't feel comfortable, glad we brought slippers. shower head didn't work properly. soap dish was chipped n looked 5 years old.
bathroom was an igloo.
$200/night I could have stayed at a Marriott n had luxury stay.
pics made it look so fancy but a completely opposite feeling during our stay and wanted to cut off a extra night and leave early.

Nice little condo and I would definitely stay here again. located in a ski resort in a town that has anything could need. Just twenty minutes to Warwick N.Y. and that is a great place to shop,eat and check out local breweries and distilleries. The oversized soaker tub and gas fireplace made for a great night every night!!

GREAT value - awesome condo in convenient location. Very clean and would stay again! If you like softer pillows be sure to bring your own, and note that the hot water can be finicky as well as the fireplace. Overall recommend!

Great Experience, great room!

Spent a beautiful and relaxing Columbus Day weekend at the resort. The room was great and really comfortable, perfect for the two of us. It's basically a small studio apartment with a well stocked kitchenette, dining area, and sitting area. Even an electric fireplace! The resort itself is like a large hotel. We didn't use the amenities much, but you get access to the pool, exercise room, game room, etc. One of the coolest things was being able to ride the chairlift up and enjoy the view from the top of the mountain. We also loved riding the little mountain coaster. The area is gorgeous! We hiked at two state parks and had fun at the Fall Festival nearby. One thing to note - the roads are very very dark at night. Almost no streetlights and the locals will tailgate if you're being slow and cautious. Otherwise, everything was great and we'd definitely come back (not during ski season) to enjoy the wonderful natural beauty!

The condo is actually in the Appalachian hotel, super convenient access to all it and Mountain Creek has to offer.

Comfortable and fun!

Room was good for the value. The hotel is a little outdated and could use a deep clean. The room itself was very clean. A lot of kids, wouldn’t recommend for couples. Due to off season and covid it is very hard to find food or drinks.
I would maybe stay again if they did some updates to the hotel.

We had an absolutely wonderful time; great location (there is a heated pool, it is right next to the water part, min to hikes, 30 min to Legoland and only an hr to NYC) and well kept (everything was clean and well kept).

Cute, clean place to get away in Sussex Co. My husband and I went for a weekend. Unfortunately, it seemed to be “off season” plus there were 2 weddings there the same weekend, so most things on-site were closed to the public.. except the pool! The pool was cute and nice. I would recommend planning things to do outside of Mountain Creek during your stay. Unless you’re a mountain biker, that was open and busy also all weekend! (I’m pregnant so we didn’t go). Lastly, the bed was extremely uncomfortable (again, pregnant lol) but also to my husband, the mattress was a very very firm.

We go to MTN Creek to Mountain Bike. Location is perfect. You can even scope out lift lines from the window. Clean place. Clear instructions.

Gerald’s condo is exactly as pictured. My favorite part was the view! I stayed by the window most of the time. The pool was amazing, memorial day weekend weather was super cold but the pool was warm enough for us to enjoy. We visited the drive in theater, stairs to heaven trail and wawayanda state park and the nature was absolutely breathtaking! Gerald’s place is a must!

Great safe place to stay!

We had a lovely time at Gerald's place. The location, right next to the ski slope, was ideal. We could roll out of our comfy beds, press the button on the provided Keurig, brown up some potatoes in the kitchenette, and hit the slopes. The room was clean and Gerald was very communicative with clear instructions on how to park and access the room. Highly recommended!
