Welcome to our 1 BR at The Appalachian Hotel. This fully furnished mountain front unit has all the amenities and luxuries that you expect for your resort getaway. Enjoy skiing, mtn biking, water park, outdoor pool/spa and great local attractions.
THE CONDO:
This updated privately owned 600 square foot Mountain front 1-bedroom 1-bathroom condo is located on the 3rd floor at The Appalachian @ The Mountain Creek Ski, bike and water park resort in Vernon, New Jersey. As you enter the condo you will notice the new vibrant colors with a modern rustic theme as well as the BEST Mountain front views just outside the windows!
The galley kitchen and dining area are just to the left as you enter and is fully equipped, and boasts all the necessary appliances one would expect, and some you might not expect. This includes an electric stove-top (no oven), dishwasher, WINE FRIDGE, microwave oven and a near full-size refrigerator. It comes complete with a Keurig coffee maker, a toaster, and all the kitchen supplies needed to make a great family meal. The new dining table seats 4 comfortably.
On the right you will notice the large, beautiful bathroom with a separate tub and shower area and plenty of room to get dressed. Notice the beautiful tile floors that remind us of the 357 mineral species found nearby with a total of 28 that are completely unique to the area. Pretty cool!
The living room area is next and has a beautiful gas fireplace for those cold nights (shut down each May and back up each October), a wall mounted 42inch HD LCD Cable TV, seating for 4 with mountain front and pool views and a new Macy’s RADLEY sofa bed with a recently updated memory foam mattress that sleeps 2 comfortably.
The Creme De La Crème is the master bedroom where you will be greeted with warm colors in both the bedding and on the walls. Here, you will find the comfy king bed, fitted with a high end “Ikrema” memory foam mattress to ensure you a good night’s sleep. It’s topped off with a modern Nathan James "Harlow" faux leather headboard that continues to announce this unit's rustic charm
Our quilts are beautiful and colorful and are rotated as the season changes. In the fall we may have a quilt with fall leaves on it, winter we might add warm UGG quilts, and summer, we might just use a white light weight quilt. Watch your favorite shows on the 32inch HD LCD Cable TV and gaze out to the mountains and ski slopes while resting on the comfy bed. The bedroom has direct access to the en-suite bathroom.
You get to enjoy all the above as well as Wi-Fi, Cable TV, fresh linens, fresh towels, blankets, and basic toiletries. You get to use the Hotel pool, Hotel hot tub, outdoor sauna, underground parking, and fitness room…
This condo truly provides all the comforts of home and then some....

THE RESORT:
The Mountain Creek Ski Resort is a 4-season resort that offers Alpine Skiing, Snow Boarding, Mountain Biking, Zip-Line, and a Water Park - all on site as well as a tree top experience down the road.
THE LOCATION:
Vernon Township is in Sussex County New Jersey, USA. It is located about 1 hour from New York City and was established on April 8, 1793. Iron mining was prevalent during the mid-to-late 19th century. Mines such as Canister Mine, Williams Mine, and the Pochuck Mine created industry which spawned local businesses and brought rail travel to the town.
Today Vernon and the immediate area is an outdoor lover’s paradise. Here you will find a landscape consisting of residential and resort communities, farmland, apple orchards, pumpkin patches, bird watching, barns, horse farms and stables, lakes, fishing, and just so much natural beauty. The famous Appalachian Trail (AT) even runs through it! You will be amazed on what you will find only 1 hour outside of New York City.

Underground parking with 1 parking pass. Additional cars can park across the street at the Mountain Creek lot when available. We don’t have a 2nd parking pass to hand out.

AREA ATTRACTIONS:
Nearby attractions include the Appalachian Trail, Warwick Drive-in Movie Theater, Warwick’s historic Main Street, Antiquing, Horseback Riding, Restaurants, Wineries, Music venues like the “Blue Arrow Farm” and “Penning Farms”, Craft Beer Breweries, 9 golf courses, and "Lego Land NY" in 2021-2022 plus so much more!
CLEANING POLICIES:
Our cleaners are instructed to clean and sanitized between each guest. This includes all high touch areas like light switches and handles. We take our guests safety seriously. We offer a contactless check-in procedure featuring a digital lock and you will be provided with your own unique key code.

You will get a unique code for the condo door that will be the last 4 digits of the phone number you provided.
We are not a part of the hotel program so no need to go to the front desk unless the RED key cards don't work.
Laundry room (coin operated)
Due to new cleaning procedures, we cannot offer a late check-out. However, if no guest is departing on the day you arrive, we can most likely offer an early arrival!
We accept responsible guests who are 21 and over.

Cancellation Policy
For SC,WV & NJ rentals:
If you cancel your reservation 14 days (30 for holidays) before your arrival date we can send you a full refund, minus $75 if paid with a credit card. This does not include any rental that is over a week. Any rental over a week will not be eligible for a refund of any kind. No cancellations are allowed for our condos in NJ if mountain facilities are closed since we cannot control the weather.
NC rentals: No cancellations permitted at all.
We highly recommend that you buy travel insurance.

No pets of any kind are allowed in the condo at any time or on the deck, patio, balcony, etc
No smoking inside the condo. This includes e-cigs and vaping
No illegal drugs inside the condo or on the deck, patio, balcony, etc
No parties in the condo or on the deck, patio, balcony, etc
No subletting of the condo is allowed at any time
Deposit Policy
We don't charge a security deposit on all rentals but do charge on all long term only.

I cannot say enough about this location #324. It was extremely clean and set up so nicely. It has everything you need. Dishes, cookware, dishwasher, keurig, full fridge and freezer. The bed is so comfortable,the bathroom is huge which has a stand up shower and oversized bathtub. The pool is open 10am to 10pm w a hot tub and the view of the outdoor pool you can see from the balcony which has 2 Adirondack red chairs and a little wooden table w two wood chairs and a small side table.
