FULLY Renovated Upper level 2-bedroom 2-bathroom condo located in the Great Gorge and part of The Mountain Creek Ski Resort in Vernon NJ.

THE CONDO:
Located alongside the Great Gorge Golf Course, this 2-bedroom (top floor BR is a loft) 2-bathroom condo is sure to please. You will appreciate the amazing views of the golf course, the fall foliage, winter blankets of snow, wildlife, and amazing sunsets from the living room windows or while lounging on the deck. Add a glass of wine from one of the many local wineries, or a craft beer from local breweries and you will never want to leave. One of the many luxuries this condo offers, not found in many rentals, is this unit's SPA master bathroom complete with a Jacuzzi Tub and a large shower with not only a shower head but additional body sprayers! Again, you will never want to leave!
Arrival is between 3 pm and 10 pm
Departure is by 11 am
FEATURES
Bedroom 1: is up the spiral staircase in the loft, Queen-size bed, TV, 2 chairs and a large SPA bathroom with several shower sprayers. It also has a 65-inch TV!
Bedroom 2: has two twin beds, a TV and an electric fireplace
Living Room area has 20 ft high vaulted ceilings, a Smart 65-inch TV (Roku), sofa bed, coffee table, and 2 bar stools for kitchen island.
Dining Room area has a table with 4 chairs and sliding doors to the deck with views of the golf course and mountains. The deck has a few chairs and a coffee table
Kitchen is modern and updated with all you need to prepare a great family meal. Is has a kitchen island with bar stools
THE COMMUNITY:
This condo resides in the resort community of Great Gorge Village in Vernon NJ that has its own chair lift that is part of the Mountain Creek Ski Resort.
THE LOCATION:
Vernon Township is located in Sussex County New Jersey, USA. It is located about 1 hour from New York City and was established on April 8, 1793. Iron mining was prevalent during the mid-to-late 19th century. Mines such as Canister Mine, Williams Mine, and the Pochuck Mine created industry which spawned local businesses and brought rail travel to the town.
Today Vernon and the immediate area is an outdoor lover’s paradise. Here you will find a landscape consisting of residential and resort communities, farmland, apple orchards, pumpkin patches, bird watching, barns, horse farms and stables, lakes, fishing, and just so much natural beauty. The famous Appalachian Trail (AT) even runs through it! You will be amazed on what you will find only 1 hour outside of New York City.

CLEANING POLICIES:
Our cleaners are instructed to clean and sanitized between each guest. This includes all high touch areas like light switches and handles. We take our guests safety seriously. We offer a contactless check-in procedure featuring a digital lock and you will be provided with your own unique key code.
IDEAL GUESTS
We rent to responsible families and a group of responsible adults who are ALL 21 years of age or older. Any group of individuals will need to list each guest and their ages. We have the right to ask for a driver's license at any time.

If your intention is to rent this condo to party and/or have more than the allowed # of guests in this condo at any given time, you are not a good fit and will not be allowed to book this condo. If you’re a parent looking to book a stay for your kids in high school, college, etc., then please book elsewhere
MISC:
No candles can be lite inside the condo or community
The bed and bed frames cannot be moved
The furniture cannot be moved
No extra mattresses can be brought into nor used inside the rental
No gathering just outside the rental except for the deck and even then, it's just for the # of people the unit is listed as sleeping.
You must be able to climb about 20 steps to get to this condo
You just be able to open up a manual lock box
The person who booked the unit is the only one who can get a gate pass.
If you will have 2 cars which is the max amt # of cars allowed, you must tell us right after you book the condo

Policies
Cancellation Policy
If you booked via Air bnb, the cancel policy is based on what the policy was at the time when you booked the stay. No deviation will be permitted under any circumstances. You expect us to adhere to the booking as is and we expect the same from our guests.
If you booked on our websites or VRBO or an of VRBO affiliated sites , the cancelation policy is what you initialed and signed off on noted on the rental agreement. All cancellations will incur a $50 fee plus 2 times the "credit card cost" if we did charge your credit card already even if its a legitimate cancellation. We cannot be expected to pay for the credit fees we incurred. The cc company charges us when we run a credit card and when we refund a credit card.
Deposit Policy
We will charge your credit card $100 when you book. This is to test the credit card. We will then charge the balance 30 days prior to your arrival date. We don't charge a security deposit on all bookings, even if there is one attached, but might only do hold charge at times.

First off let me start by saying that our host, Gerald was responsive with any questions I had.
We arrived at the condo later in the evening we were unable to get a car pass from the office and had to settle for a temporary day pass which had to be renewed daily. Once we arrived we had a minor issue with the lock box. The code given on the airbnb app was one number off. But Gerald quickly resolved it. The condo itself was as described minus a couple of damages.
Once we settled in for the night we felt a cold draft. I discovered it was the patio door which would not close entirely leaving a small gap, allowing that frigid air in. I turned up the heat to combat the breeze and decided to take care of Eid it with Gerald in the morning, as my family was tired from our travels.
I texted Gerald via the app showing him the damages and door that would not close. I noticed he responded back advising me that he had another location avail but was gone by the time I answered back.

Hi Miguel, the issue you reported was the patio door which did close for me the day you departed. We removed some leaves that were stuck. That was the only issue that you had reported and we were extremely responsive and the patio door "user issue" does not warrant a 2 star review.

The space is enjoyable and nice. It has a beautiful view and just about everything you need for a short stay. If you arrive at night, it might be difficult to locate the exact condo and we had help from someone walking around. The upstairs room does not have a wall so there is not as much privacy and sound carries from the kitchen and living room. There are many decorative items in the colonial style, if that is your taste, however, some simple furniture like side tables, bathmat, and hooks in the downstairs bathroom are missing. If you are planning to cook, make sure you bring oil and condiments yourself. The dishwasher has a strange smell as if it has not been cleaned in a while. The showers are very nice and have a luxury feel, arguably the best feature of the house. This is in a gated community, so if you are looking for a remote stay, this is not the place. There are a lot of houses and people around.

Great location, 6 min drive from ski location and very elegant house
This was a great getaway for my birthday weekend. I was able to soak away my troubles and we had enough space to feel comfortable.
