Cancellation Policy

If you booked via Air bnb, the cancel policy is based on what the policy was at the time when you booked the stay. No deviation will be permitted under any circumstances. You expect us to adhere to the booking cxl policy and we expect the same from our guests.

If you booked on our websites or VRBO or an of VRBO affiliated sites , the cancelation policy is what you initialed and signed off on noted on the rental agreement. All cancellations will incur a $50 fee plus 2 times the "credit card cost" if we did charge your credit card already even if its a legitimate cancellation. We cannot be expected to pay for the credit fees we incurred. The cc company charges us when we run a credit card and when we refund a credit card.

Deposit Policy

We will charge your credit card at least $100 when you book under www.AppalachianHotel.com or on vrbo/homeaway/expedia. This is mostly to test the credit card. We will then charge the balance 7-14 days prior to your arrival date. We don't charge a security deposit on all bookings, even if there is one attached, but might only do hold charge at times.
