The place had a humid smell and it was noisy as per the adjacent units. The hosts communicate in excess and have so many rules that it becomes burdensome. There are units with a balcony or with a terrace that go for a lower price. I would go for those.

We really enjoyed our stay! The place fully matched the description and photos — clean, cozy, and comfortable.
Everything we needed for a pleasant stay was provided, and we truly felt at home.
The hosts were very kind and always responsive; check-in and check-out went smoothly.
The location is convenient, quiet, and peaceful — perfect for relaxing.

We stayed here as a halfway point between Thanksgiving arrangements and a scheduled adventure in New York. Place was great, we enjoyed the hot tub after Thanksgiving dinner, and were well rested for the following day.

The bed was super comfortable and our hosts had all the sundries we didn’t know we needed. Would definitely recommend!

Me and my two boys had a blast at Gerry and Arlene’s place over Labor Day weekend. The condo was clean and comfortable and they were thoughtful about small details like having a Brita filter, an extra toothbrush, etc. the pool, hot tub etc were all super fun and we would definitely come again!

Great Stay here in the heart of everything you would want to do or get to in Vernon. My cousin and I went to the pool, hot tub, and sauna on arrival.. easy walking distance. The following morning we went and hiked the Stairway to Heaven. We followed that with Mountain Creek Waterpark walking distance to our stay. We had an awesome time and we WILL be back!

Walked into the condo and it smelled so fresh and clean! The instructions that they provided were very accurate. This was a perfect getaway for our little family. Would recommend and stay again in the future!

Gerry and Arlene’s place was perfect for us for a one night stay in the area. It was clean, spacious and homey. The resort is lovely and had plenty of pool and hot tub room even when it was busy. Gerry was extremely responsive and flexible with a check in request and it was greatly appreciated! There were clear instructions and the process was seamless.

The condo was perfectly located for our weekend of mountain bike racing. It had everything we needed, was very clean, and so convenient. Hosts were so communicative and everything was explained clearly. Will be booking again!

Gerry’s condo is a great studio. Great location. The little kitchen was easy to cook in. A good set of pots and a pan! Love the deep sink making dishes easy.

This place was amazing, just what my husband and I were looking for. We enjoyed the cute studio apt and all the condo amenities! The pool, hot tub, and sauna were perfect pre-wedding (guests) activities for relaxation. The garage parking was a great bonus! Close enough to the venue and not have to be in a hotel was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing time! It was everything we wanted - the hosts are super communicative and thoughtful. The room is lovely - what a great view. There are so many thoughtful details that made it extra special. Our gps got confused by the actual address (that's google's fault), so initially we thought the garage entrance was somehow behind the main building. Turns out the garage is right under the main entrance - we didn't see it at first because we arrived after dark. Highly recommend sitting outside by the creek at the Daily Bean. We'd come back in a heartbeat!

Great location for family ski weekend

I recently stayed at Gerry & Arlene’s place for a ski trip, and it exceeded all expectations! Gerry provided clear instructions ahead of trip, recommendation of things to do local, and making check-in a breeze. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was unbeatable—just right next to the slopes, which made it super convenient for ski runs. After long days on the mountain, coming back to the cozy fireplace and hot tub was the perfect way to relax. The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to cook meals, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The little touches, like extra blankets, and board games, really made us feel at home. The hosts were responsive and helpful throughout our stay, ensuring we had everything we needed.

I enjoyed my stay at Gerry’s property! It was very neat and they offered a number of toiletries which I thought was a sweet touch. The property was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. Gerry was extremely responsive and nice to work with. I would highly recommend this property.

The place was exactly as described. Only thing to note, if you have a roof bin you will not be able to park near the elevators closest to the unit. Height is 7ft.

Perfect for what we needed, clean and cozy. For a small space, the bathroom is very roomy. All the basic were there soap, sponge, nice white fluffy towels. Amenities were also lovely and easy to access.

We had a wonderful stay at Gerry’s studio in the Appalachian hotel, the studio was super clean and bright with a mountain view. Lots of restaurants nearby the crystal cafe serves a great breakfast and the daily bean is amazing! We drove around and went to many of the recommendations Gerry sent over, they were great. Perfect for a weekend getaway if you’re based in NYC or JC. Little mountain town — Christmas movie vibes.

A short and sweet stay overnight at Gerry’s condo. The place was well maintained, clean and cozy. An excellent space to relax and enjoy some time with the hubby.
Didn’t realize the pool is heated and a long walk away so next time we will bring fluffy robes so we can go in the pool and hot tub.

Great place!

The place was super convenient to the event I went to NJ to attend. However the walls were really thin and both nights I was awakened by the noise of people in the hallway returning to their condos and the sound of doors slamming.

Beautiful condo with great amenities! My husband and I fell in love with Vernon after our one week stay. Gerald was extremely communicative and gave us helpful recommendations for places to eat and activities to enjoy. The Appalachian Trail is minutes away and we saw so much wildlife: deer, wild turkeys, groundhogs, snakes and hawks in just the first 10 minutes of our hike! The local cafe, The Daily Bean, has the best homemade baked goods I have ever tried. Relaxing in the resort pool and hot tub was lovely and never felt crowded. We will definitely be back!
